Bursaries will be offered by the WCSS at two levels:
Level 1 - Registration, Accommodation and Travel costs will be covered (up to the value of £1,000.00) NOW CLOSED
Level 2 - Registration costs only will be covered. NOW CLOSED
New Bursary Announced
SSSA and USNC/SS Announce Graduate Student/Post-Doc Travel Award for WCSS The Soil Science Society of America and U.S. Committee for Soil Science (USNC/SS), a committee of the National Academy of Sciences which represents all U.S. soil scientists to the International Union of Soil Sciences, announces the
World Congress of Soil Science Travel Award.
This program will provide fellowships to SSSA members who are soil science graduate students/post-doctoral researchers presenting papers (oral or poster) at the 22nd quadrennial World Congress of Soil Science of the International Union of Soil Sciences (IUSS), July 31-August 5, 2022 in Glasgow, Scotland.
Fellowships include the travel grant, pre-Congress Zoom meeting, a dinner with soil science leaders, and an informal breakfast. SSSA membership, as of March 15, 2022, is required. A special thank you to the Agronomic Science Foundation for funding this program. Award nominations, including self-nominations, will close April 28, 2022, 11:59 pm CDT.
